cramps.

I'm going to become nocturnal soon. Here's my sleep pattern. Stay up until 3am, sleep for 4 hours, go to school, nap for 2-3 hours after school, stay up until 3 am....vicious vicious cycle. And my time just gets pushed back each and every day. These two days, I've been napping like a baby. I can't keep away. Why? Thanks to pms. The day before I start pms-ing and when I first start, I get SO tired I can sleep for hours and not hear anything. That explains my lack of energy and incentive to work lately.

MIT interview went pretty well today and it really motivated me to put in my all for this month of December and give everything I have for another try at SAT I and all my admission essays. It's been my dream for sooooo long so I really shouldn't give up on applying to the states. If I fail to get in, that's another story. At least, I tried.

sighs.
so much work, so little time.

i wish i was a robot who didn't need sleep.

"I'll be bach"

Nothing makes me laugh more than nerdy jokes.
People shake their heads in shame, but they make me so genuinely happy. Like you won't believe! I've been googling interview tips all night since band ended because I have an MIT interview tomorrow. Which reminds me to say, I cannot wait until all this university application stuff is over. Then again, I might end up...well, panicking about the wait for acceptances. NERVEWRACKING.

On a happier note, Christmas is coming up SO soon! But before then, I have a bajillion assignments and things to finish. So no sleep for me anytime soon. Thanks IB. I owe you one...(yeah riight).

I finally wrote your birthday card today...yes, it was horribly late and I'm so sorry. School's a pain in the ass, did you know? Probably. I hope you liked it. Don't worry, there more cheese and "fromage" to come in the near future. There are two big occasions coming up. That means...more essay card writing! I love cheesy cards. They make me smile :)

Repeat, repeat, repeat.
I'll never be bored
of hearing those same words
come out of your mouth.
They never get old.

backkk :)

I've abandoned this for a while only to realize how much I've missed out on.
There are endless blogs to read, admire and to be inspired by, countless pictures to stare at and just a variety of things to entertain myself with.

I should get back into this blogging habit of mine that started a couple years ago. School's made me disregard it completely.

Apparently I was not aware that we have a rough draft of an essay due tomorrow.
Greaaat.

Ciao!

My short stay in Europe was amazing and some of the world wonders located in Europe were absolutely breathtaking. I've been so accustomed to the American way of life that there were so many little things I noticed everywhere I went. The building were all pretty and not to mention, old. But, none of them ever looked the same! And throughout my stay of 10 days, I never saw any detached homes. Everyone seemed to live in appartments, which makes sense since there is so much less space there than over here. All Canada has to spare is...space! It's incredible. I never realize just how much space Canada had everywhere until I got off the plane at Toronto Pearson. I loved the little brasseries in Paris and all the outdoor restaurants. They were all so cute and romantic.

Then I came to Italy and it was scorching hot in Rome. The sites were wonderful but everything costs money (there were no free entrances, ever). My parents concluded that the Italian government is probably poorer than the French government and thus, they must ask for money at every given opportunity. It was outrageous how all the public washrooms cost money. It was 0.80 euros per use. I mean, that's....almost 2 dollars Canadian! And in venice, some washrooms cost 1.50 euros. It was ridiculous.

All in all, I had an amazing time and I took over 2000 pictures with my dad's new Nikon D90. I'll post some pictures here when I get the time and become not lazy. ;) Just kidding.

I shall go get ready for a friend's birthday celebration now.

Cheeers!

It's raining so hard outside I feel like my roof is going to collapse. Meanwhile, my piano exam is tomorrow so I'll need all the luck I can get !

dreammmyy.

What does it mean to have someone repeated appear in your dreams? Someone who's from your life in the past. That someone you used to have feelings towards but are now barely even friends. I wake up every time from a dream like that wanting to hug that person and to tell them how much they meant to me. To tell them how big of a difference they made in my life. And how from time to time, I really miss them.

If only there was a giant book that deciphers all dreams and every dream, telling you exactly what it means. Sadly enough, I don't think that giant book will ever exist.

a message from around the world.

(This was a little stuffed animal a good friend gave to me as a Christmas present a couple years back. It's actually from Japan. I was taking pictures around the house and this turned out to be really cute! )

When I signed in to Msn this morning, a notification regarding an offline message popped up. I had no expectations of who it might be from and I clicked on it. Lo and behold, my best friend who's currently in China messaged me. I've always wondered how a simple "I miss you soo much" can light up my day. And I have yet to figure out the answer to that. The story really isn't long. This is our last summer before graduation year of high school and we've all been busy with our own lives. Taking summer school courses, practicing for piano exams and going on vacation afterwards. For an entire two months, we've barely carried out 3 full conversations. I miss you. It was great to hear from you (:

It doesn't matter how far apart two people may be

It doesn't matter how often they converse

What matters is

simply what one means to the other deep inside.

We don't need 10 best friends,

just one is enough.

And lucky me,

I have two.

Listen to the sound of the music.

Say hi!!

It really isn't that orange in real life, I just love to make my colours vivid.

And just some random shots around the house. It's quite incredible how everything looks much better in pictures than in real life. It'd be awesome if we could add function to our eyes. My piano exam is coming up in a couple days and nowhere am I near ready. I guess I should be putting even inch of effort into practicing nowadays but here I am, fooling around with my camera and browsing aimlessly on the internet. Keep in mind, I excel at procrastination like you won't believe. I think this picture is beautiful.

the start of a new beginning.

I've been blogging on Xanga for a couple years now and I was originally attracted to it because of it's private feature. But since this year began, I've blogged less and less. It was mainly caused by my hectic and workfilled school life but since there was less interesting blogs to read, I lost my interest quite quickly. Then I started to discover all of the amazing bloggers who use Blogspot and it was like I was introduced to an entire new world. The photos, the words, the fashion and the content here made me want to start a blogspot myself to. Perhaps it really was time to say bye to my long beloved Xanga account and start somewhere new. Plus, a new school year is starting in less than a month so it should be a good idea. However, I do think I need to get used to this public posting idea.

I'm learning how to use my dad's new Nikon D90 SLR camera and maybe soon, I'll be posting jawdropping photos! (I'm just kidding!) It still takes amazing photos even if I just press the button.
