My short stay in Europe was amazing and some of the world wonders located in Europe were absolutely breathtaking. I've been so accustomed to the American way of life that there were so many little things I noticed everywhere I went. The building were all pretty and not to mention, old. But, none of them ever looked the same! And throughout my stay of 10 days, I never saw any detached homes. Everyone seemed to live in appartments, which makes sense since there is so much less space there than over here. All Canada has to spare is...space! It's incredible. I never realize just
how much space Canada had
everywhere until I got off the plane at Toronto Pearson. I loved the little brasseries in Paris and all the outdoor restaurants. They were all so cute and romantic.
Then I came to Italy and it was scorching hot in Rome. The sites were wonderful but everything costs money (there were no free entrances, ever). My parents concluded that the Italian government is probably poorer than the French government and thus, they must ask for money at every given opportunity. It was outrageous how all the public washrooms cost money. It was 0.80 euros per use. I mean, that's....almost 2 dollars Canadian! And in venice, some washrooms cost 1.50 euros. It was ridiculous.
All in all, I had an amazing time and I took over 2000 pictures with my dad's new Nikon D90. I'll post some pictures here when I get the time and become not lazy. ;) Just kidding.
I shall go get ready for a friend's birthday celebration now.
